Equipment

Equipment, also known as Gear, consists of equippable items such as weapons, armor, accessories, and trophies that are used to fight enemies or to improve profession results. To equip a piece of gear, the player character must be of a minimum level; certain gear, such as weapons, additionally requires the character to be on a specific class. Equipment is the largest contributor to character power growth in the game: the majority of stats are derived from gear instead of being naturally gained through the course of earning experience and leveling up. Equipment may optionally be further enhanced through fortification and enchantment systems.

Weapons

Weapons are the many armaments that define each class. Each class is built around a unique weapon type, skill set, and playstyle.

Armor

Armor is equipment that provides defense against damage in combat and also grants attribute bonuses. Unlike weapons, armor is not restricted to a specific class, any class can equip a piece of armor provided the character meets its level requirement.

Accessories

Accessories are equipment that provide attribute bonuses. Like armor, accessories are not restricted to a specific class and can be equipped by any class that meets the associated level requirement.

Trophies

Trophies are equipment pieces similar in function to accessories. Up to two Trophies can be equipped at once, each granting attribute bonuses and combat bonuses.

Profession Gear

Separate from combat equipment, Profession Gear can be equipped to improve results in specific professions, such as Fishing, Cooking, Gathering, and Archaeology. This gear does not affect combat performance and is used while engaging in its associated profession activity.

PvP Gear

PvP Gear is a separate category of equipment used exclusively in PvP content, distinct from the equipment used in general PvE combat. It is primarily obtained by exchanging War Coins War Coins and Valor Coins Valor Coins through the PvP Quartermasters.

Gaia Emblems

Gaia Emblems are equipment pieces that grant substantial attribute bonuses, such as DMG and HP, along with additional skill-specific boosts. Equipping a Gaia Emblem requires both a minimum character level and a specific amount of Eidolon Points, and higher-tier emblems generally provide larger bonuses as a character's Eidolon Points increase.

Costumes

Costumes are a form of equipment separate from standard armor and accessories, covering five dedicated slots: Head, Mask, Costume, Ornament, and Weapon. Costumes in Aura Kingdom also grant +1% on all attributes.

Costumes can be equipped through their corresponding slots in the Equipment window, and will also appear when viewing the character in-game.

Costumes can be obtained through a variety of methods, including the Item Mall, in-game events, and NPC vendors.
