Eidolons
Eidolons are spirits that accompany Envoys of Gaia in combat. Each Eidolon has an elemental attribute, skills, and progression options that determine the support it provides when summoned. Collecting and developing Eidolons also contributes to permanent character bonuses through the Eidolon Collection, Eidolon Resonance, and Star Talents systems.
General Information
Eidolons are introduced during the main quest. After the system is unlocked, owned Eidolons can be viewed and managed through the Eidolon Area, which is opened with the N key by default.
Only one Eidolon can actively accompany the character at a time. Additional Eidolons can be placed in the character's Eidolon party and selected when a different active companion is required.
Eidolons differ in their elemental attributes, active skills, effects, and collection bonuses. These properties can be viewed by selecting an Eidolon in the Eidolon Area.
Obtaining Eidolons
An Eidolon is normally unlocked by obtaining and using its Key of Gaia. Key Fragments can be combined into a complete key when the required quantity has been collected.
Keys and Key Fragments can be obtained from several sources, depending on the Eidolon:
- Gaia's Sanctuary and Temple of Eidolons
- Dungeon rewards
- The Item Mall and Loyalty Shop
- The Paragon Table
- The Auction House and trading with other players, when the corresponding item is tradable
- Events and other limited sources
The available sources differ between Eidolons. See List of Eidolons for the acquisition method associated with each one.
Eidolon Area
The Eidolon Area contains the character's owned Eidolons and the controls used to manage them. Selecting an Eidolon displays its level, star rank, skills, attribute, and available progression options.
The interface is also used to:
- Form an Eidolon party
- Gift Experience Crystals and crests
- Evolve Eidolons
- Change an Eidolon's form or name, where available
- Access Eidolon Infusion
- View the Eidolon Collection
- Manage Eidolon Resonance
- Allocate Star Talent points
Party Formation
The Eidolon party contains up to four owned Eidolons. One member of the party can be summoned to fight alongside the character, while the remaining members remain available for selection.
An Eidolon's combat performance is determined by its own level, star rank, skills, and other progression systems. Party composition can therefore be changed to provide a different element, skill set, or supporting effect.
Progression
Leveling
Eidolons gain experience through Eidolon Experience Crystals. Select an Eidolon in the Eidolon Area, choose Gift Items, and give it an eligible crystal to increase its experience.
Experience Crystals are available in multiple grades. Higher-grade crystals provide more experience. They can be obtained through Eidolon-related content, including Gaia's Sanctuary.
Crests and Star Buffs
Crests increase an Eidolon's basic stats. Each crest corresponds to a particular stat, such as DMG, CRIT, SPD, HP, DEF, or EVA.
Each star rank contains stat thresholds. Reaching all required thresholds for that rank activates the Eidolon's corresponding Star Buff. Star Buff effects vary between Eidolons and can provide bonuses to the Eidolon, the Envoy, or both.
Evolution
Evolution increases an Eidolon's star rank and unlocks additional progression. Select an Eidolon and choose Evolution to view its current requirements.

| Evolution | General Requirements |
|---|---|
| The Eidolon's Key of Gaia and any level requirement displayed by the interface | |
| The Eidolon's Key of Gaia, an Evolutionary Bead, and any level requirement displayed by the interface | |
| An Eidolon Oath Ring and completion of the Eidolon's 3-star stat thresholds |
Some Eidolons may have additional or different requirements. The Evolution window displays the exact materials required by the selected Eidolon.
Evolutionary Beads and Eidolon Oath Rings can be obtained from Eidolon-related content and the Item Mall interface. Availability and purchase limits depend on the item and shop listing.
Eidolon Wishes
Owned Eidolons may request specific items through the Eidolon Wishes system. Providing the requested items completes the wish and grants its listed permanent stat bonus.
Additional wishes become available as the character reaches their required levels. Requirements and bonuses vary by Eidolon and are displayed in the Eidolon interface.
Eidolon Resonance
Eidolon Resonance is an Aura Kingdom Impact progression system that separates Eidolons into Main Eidolons and Resonance Slots. Up to five Main Eidolons can be developed directly, while other owned Eidolons can be assigned to one of 20 Resonance Slots to receive levels through the Resonance system.
The level provided to an Eidolon in a Resonance Slot depends on the progression of the Main Eidolons. Changing an assignment may place the affected slot or Eidolon under a cooldown before it can be reassigned.
Resonance allows a larger collection to remain usable without requiring every Eidolon to be leveled independently. Star rank, skills, and collection progress remain separate forms of development.
Eidolon Infusion
Eidolon Infusion is a skill-customization system introduced in Aura Kingdom Impact. It allows eligible Eidolons to receive an additional special skill selected through the Eidolon interface.

The available skills and requirements are displayed when the Infusion interface is opened for the selected Eidolon. Infusion affects the Eidolon's available combat effects; its exact options depend on the selected Eidolon and skill.
Eidolon Collection
The Eidolon Collection records the Eidolons owned by the character and the star ranks they have reached. Collection progress grants permanent stat bonuses and contributes toward Star Talent progression.
Eidolon Pairings
Eidolon Pairings are groups of two or more Eidolons that provide collection bonuses when their ownership and star-rank requirements are met. Higher pairing ranks provide additional stats, Collection Points, or Star Talent points.
Pairing bonuses are passive and do not require the associated Eidolons to be placed in the active party. The Eidolon Collection interface lists each pairing, its required Eidolons, and the bonuses available at each combined star rank.
Star Talents

Star Talent points are earned through Eidolon collection and star-rank progression. Each owned Eidolon contributes points according to its attained star ranks, while certain higher-rank pairing bonuses provide additional points.
Star Talent points can be allocated to nodes that grant permanent combat-stat bonuses. Available nodes include general stats, elemental damage, attack-range bonuses, and other combat modifiers. Allocated points can be reset through the Star Talents interface.
Star Talents affect the character independently of which Eidolon is currently summoned.
